We are recruiting for the following positions to join our Edmonton office:
- Co‑op Students – January–August
2026 - Summer Internship – May–July
2026
Please note, applicants for these positions are not required to be enrolled in the Co‑op program to be considered.
The Role- Prepare and/or assist in the preparation of corporate year‑ends, which includes compilation, review, and audit engagements.
- Work with a team of professionals who assist individuals, businesses, not‑for‑profits and First Nations with a wide range of accounting, assurance, and financial services.
- Support a varying size of audit engagement teams with assessing the appropriateness of audit evidence on‑sight and remotely.
- Prepare financial statements under the various financial reporting frameworks.
- Prepare corporate and personal income tax returns, including related filings and schedules.
- Meet deadlines as assigned by the Partners or Senior Staff Accountants.
- Participate in education, training and professional development programs.
- Work independently and in a team environment under the direction of the leadership.
- Completion of additional ad‑hoc administrative duties or assignments as required.
- A university or college student pursuing an undergraduate degree (preferablyBCom orBBA) meeting the CPA pre‑requisites for the Skilled Education Program.
- Travel to client job sights is required. Must have reliable transportation locally and the ability to travel out of town for the work week.
- Excellent communication, time management, and client service skills.
- Strong commitment to excellence and attention to detail.
- A willingness to learn and able to prioritize workloads and meet strict deadlines.
- A team player who encourages the success of all.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Basic understanding of accounting software programs is considered an asset.
