Tax Staff Associate

Our midsize CPA firm in Rockville, Maryland is looking for an experienced Tax Staff Associate. We have a team of about 100 people. We work with a broad range of industries and handle many types of tax returns. This hybrid role gives you the perfect mix of office collaboration and work-from-home comfort. What You Will Do

• Prepare different types of tax returns for individuals and businesses.
• Work with clients across a broad range of industries.
• Help gather financial data and tax documents from clients.
• Research tax questions and learn new tax laws.
• Work closely with tax seniors and managers to finish projects.

What We Need From You

• One or more years of tax experience in public accounting.
• Basic knowledge of tax laws and forms.
• Progress toward getting your CPA license or EA license.
• Good skills with numbers and computer software.
• Strong communication skills to work well with a team.
