Senior Tax Manager | 100% Remote — Full-Time or Part-Time

This is a remote position focused on building and leading the U.S. tax practice.

Compensation: $45.00-$65.00 per hour, based on experience, skills, and work location.

• Lead accounting relationships for a portfolio of clients as a trusted advisor
• Review and analyze financial statements and act as a high-level resource for complex accounting issues
• Support and mentor our international bookkeeping team
• Prepare and review U.S. tax returns (individual and business)
• Collaborate on internal process, technology, and efficiency initiatives

• Ownership of review and sign-off on U.S. federal and state returns (1040, 1120, 1120‑S, 1065, and 990 as the practice grows)
• Building a team of tax preparers, including offshore staff in the Philippines
• Setting quality control, workflows, and tax‑season capacity planning
• Acting as a tax advisor on planning and strategy for SMEs
• Partnering with ownership to shape service lines and grow the practice

• Comfortable taking ownership and leading client relationships independently
• Excellent communicator and relationship builder
• Knowledgeable in U.S. tax with the judgment to review and stand behind a return
• Experience in managing or mentoring people, and interested in leading a team
• Adaptable and eager to learn new technologies, systems, and modern accounting practices
• Organized and able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines

• Active U.S. CPA or EA (strongly preferred)
• Several years of U.S. tax experience (individual and business returns)
• Senior accounting leadership:
  Controller, Accounting Manager, CAS, or public accounting
• Experience managing multiple clients or entities and mentoring teams
• Experience with cloud-based accounting and professional tax
