Blue Street is seeking a Government Accounting Senior Consultant to support clients with government compliance requirements, accounting system design, and rate development. The role focuses on helping government contractors improve accounting operations and comply with FAR and CAS requirements.
Role and Responsibilities:Government Accounting Compliance
- Assist with FAR compliance
- Support CAS compliance
- Develop accounting policies
- Perform compliance reviews
- Prepare Incurred Cost Submissions
- Prepare supporting schedules
- Support DCAA audit requests
- Review cost pools and allocations
- Assist with Forward Pricing Rate Proposals
- Build rate forecasts
- Support rate analysis
- Assist with negotiations
- Process documentation
- Internal control design
- Accounting transformation
- ERP advisory (Costpoint preferred)
- 7+ years government contractor accounting
- Experience with FAR / CAS
- Experience with Incurred Cost Submissions
- Experience with Forward Pricing
- Experience supporting audits
Skills:
- Costpoint experience
- CPA preferred
- Consulting experience preferred
