Remote Accounting Technician Victoria

Location

This is a remote position but we are only hiring candidates who currently live in Canada.

As an Entreflow Accounting Technician, you work with our fabulous clients and are responsible for:

• Reconciling bank and credit card accounts
• Pushing bank feeds
• Managing Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable
• Processing monthly/quarterly GST/PST/Payroll remittances

• 3+ years of full‑cycle accounting experience
• Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business
• Working towards your Canadian CPA Designation
• Self‑motivated, collaboratively focused
• A willingness to constantly learn
• Attention to detail
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Solid technical accounting skills and understanding
• Tech Savvy (Experience using Quick Books Online and/or Xero cloud accounting software an asset)
• Experience with data analysis, financial statement analysis, financial planning, and reporting an asset
• Experience in Canadian sales tax (GST, HST, PST, etc.) is an asset

For our CPA candidates, we do not have a pre‑approved program due to the nature of the complexity of our roles; however, you would have access to a CPA mentor within the firm and all previous CPA Candidates were successful with completing the higher level competency requirements for the experience report route with ease.
