As the company continues to expand, they are seeking a Senior Accountant to join their corporate accounting team. PositionSummary
The Senior Accountant will play a key role in the month-end close process, financial reporting, account reconciliations, and supporting AP, AR, and billing teams. This individual will work closely with leadership to ensure accurate financial reporting, maintain strong internal controls, and support ongoing process improvements as the company scales.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and review monthly journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations.
- Participate in the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Maintain ownership of general ledger accounting activities across multiple business functions.
- Research and apply U.S. GAAP guidance to complex accounting transactions.
- Assist with preparation of financial statements and supporting schedules.
- Support annual audits and serve as a primary liaison with external auditors.
- Analyze financial results and investigate variances.
- Assist with implementation of new accounting standards as needed.
- Evaluate and improve accounting processes, controls, and reporting efficiencies.
- Collaborate with FP&A, operations, and other departments to ensure accurate financial data.
- Support special projects, system enhancements, and business growth initiatives.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
- Minimum 3 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Combination of public accounting and corporate/general ledger accounting experience strongly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and accounting principles.
- Experience preparing journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close activities.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Experience with Net Suite a plus.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving abilities.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work across multiple departments.
- Experience working in a fast‑growing or multi‑entity organization.
- Experience supporting external audits.
- ERP system experience (Net Suite, Microsoft Dynamics, Oracle, SAP, or similar).
This position offers a salary range of $105,000 to $115,000 base dependent on experience.
Medical, dental, vision, 401K match, holiday pay and PTO.
Remote position with 5% travel during the year. Preference for WA‑based applicants.
