Detail-oriented and experienced, the full-time salaried Tax Accountant - Remote will support federal, state, local, and international tax compliance activities, including tax return preparation, audits, and tax research while collaborating with accounting and finance teams.
Key responsibilities:- Assist with filing federal, state, and local corporate tax returns and supporting work papers
- Support annual income tax provision calculations and reporting in accordance with ASC 740
- Conduct tax research to ensure compliance and identify tax-saving opportunities
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum 2 years of corporate tax experience in public accounting or a corporate environment
- Working knowledge of federal and state corporate tax regulations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and tax/accounting software
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work independently
