Accounting Clerk​/Bookkeeper

We are partnering with a well-established, mission-driven organization seeking an Accounting Clerk to support its accounting team during a transition. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional who can jump in quickly and assist with day-to-day accounting operations.

This position will be fully onsite Monday-Friday from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM during training. After approximately 3-4 weeks, the schedule will transition to hybrid, with remote work available on Mondays and Fridays.

• Process accounts payable invoices and route approvals
• Enter AP transactions into the accounting system
• Assist with accounts receivable and billing activities
• Perform cash reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
• Generate recurring reports for the finance team
• Maintain accurate accounting records and documentation
• Assist with month‑end accounting activities
• Support the accounting team with ad hoc projects and special requests

• 2+ years of accounting, bookkeeping, AP/AR, or accounting clerk experience
• Strong experience performing cash reconciliations
• Intermediate Excel skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to learn new systems quickly
• Excellent communication and problem‑solving abilities

Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual's skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs.
