The Certified Public Accountant (CPA) will provide comprehensive tax, accounting, and advisory services to a diverse portfolio of business and individual clients. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing and reviewing tax returns, performing bookkeeping and account reconciliations, supporting payroll administration, and assisting with financial statements, audits, reviews, and related assurance engagements. The CPA will analyze financial information to support client decisions around growth, financing, acquisitions, divestitures, and exit strategies, while maintaining strict compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
This is a full-time, hybrid role based in Owasso, OK, with a mix of in-office collaboration and work-from-home flexibility. The role involves direct client communication, participation in internal process improvements, and contribution to a culture driven by integrity and professional excellence.
- Active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license and strong knowledge of GAAP and tax regulations
- Experience with tax preparation and planning for individuals and businesses, including federal and state filings
- Proficiency in bookkeeping, general ledger management, and account reconciliations using modern accounting software
- Background in payroll administration and related compliance (withholding, reporting, and filings)
- Experience supporting or leading audit, review, and assurance engagements, including preparation of work papers and financial statements
- Ability to analyze financial data for growth, acquisition, divestiture, exit planning, and other strategic decisions
- Strong communication skills for explaining complex financial and tax concepts clearly to clients and team members
- Demonstrated commitment to integrity, confidentiality, and high ethical standards in client service
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; public accounting or advisory firm experience preferred
- Comfort working in a hybrid environment in Owasso, OK, collaborating in person and remotely as needed
