Attivo Partners is a fast‑growing full‑service finance and accounting consulting firm headquartered in San Francisco, with a presence in major startup hubs across the U.S. Our remote teams specialize in providing fractional CFO and accounting services to venture‑backed emerging growth clients, supporting their journey from inception to over $50M in revenue.

The ideal Senior Accountant candidate is a resourceful problem solver who will take ownership of critical accounting tasks and will be a key player in ensuring the accounting and reporting function scales and supports the company’s rapid growth. Enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key to the success of the Senior Accountant.

This is a work‑from‑home position with location preference in the San Francisco/Bay Area, Los Angeles/Southern California, New York City, Austin, and Boston. Some travel to in‑person company events is required, approximately 2‑3 weeks out of the year. In‑person onboarding training will take place within the first 3 months of employment (locations vary).

• Perform day‑to‑day accounting duties in AP, AR, cash management, payroll, FA, GL, and other duties as assigned.
• Assist with the monthly close process by posting journal entries, performing account reconciliations, and conducting ad‑hoc financial analysis.
• Maintain regular contact and build solid working relationships across groups to ensure high‑level customer service and quality work product.
• Assist on projects and ad‑hoc assignments as needed.

• Solid understanding of GAAP.
• Experience with standard software solutions, e.g., Quick Books Online, Xero, Net Suite, Campfire, Brex, Ramp, Rippling, Gusto, Rillet, Carta.
• Highly detail‑oriented with excellent organizational skills.
• Fast learner with a high degree of professional curiosity and desire to learn.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Enjoy a collaborative, team‑oriented environment.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Experience working in a fast‑paced technology or professional services environment.

• Flexibility and openness to work on a variety of assignments, industries, and roles.
• Ability to learn quickly, make an immediate impact, and provide value‑added service to our clients.

Attivo offers a competitive base salary plus bonus, and opportunities for advancement. The starting salary range for Senior Accountant is approximately  100,000 to  115,000 per year plus bonus.
