Senior Accountant

Are you an accounting professional with a foundation in public accounting and experience supporting a high-growth, dynamic corporate accounting team? We're looking for a Senior Accountant to join our fully remote team and play a key role in the monthly close process, financial reporting, and general ledger accounting. Location:

Fully Remote (Must reside in the Mountain or Central Time Zone) Salary: $100,000 - $110,000 base salary

What You'll Do

• Own assigned general ledger accounts and related accounting processes
• Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules
• Lead and support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities
• Analyze account fluctuations and research variances
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and ensure timely resolution of outstanding items
• Support financial reporting, audits, and internal control compliance
• Partner with cross-functional teams to gather financial information and improve processes
• Identify opportunities for automation and continuous improvement within accounting operations

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• 2+ years of public accounting experience (audit or assurance preferred)
• 2+ years of corporate accounting experience within a mid-sized or large company
• Strong general ledger and month-end close experience
• Knowledge of U.S. GAAP and accounting best practices
• Advanced Excel and ERP system skills
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fully remote environment

Preferred Qualifications

• CPA or CPA candidate
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Net Suite, Workday, or Microsoft Dynamics
• Experience in SOX-compliant or publicly traded company environments
