Overview
A highly regarded investment firm in Fairfield County, CT is looking for a Senior Fund Accountant!
Responsibilities- Partner closely with senior finance leadership to support the firm's day-to-day accounting, finance, and operational activities.
- Oversee the accounting and operational processes for a diverse portfolio of investment vehicles, including private funds, separately managed accounts, and co-investment structures.
- Manage daily trade operations, including trade allocations, settlements, and investment activity across both public and private investments.
- Serve as the primary liaison with external service providers, including fund administrators and prime brokers, while supporting monthly NAV closes, investor reporting, and performance estimates.
- Prepare and maintain internal shadow accounting records, including trial balance reconciliations, profit and loss analyses, and investor allocation calculations.
- Support fund- and investor-level performance reporting and analytics.
- Assist with annual financial statement audits, tax reporting, and other regulatory deliverables.
- Respond to ad hoc financial analyses and reporting requests from senior leadership, investment professionals, and investors.

CompensationBase Salary Range: $150K - $200K
Total Comp Range: $175K - $250K
Requirements- 3+ Years of Fund Accounting Experience (Any Strategy of Fund)
- CPA or Parts Passed Preferred, Not Required
