The Tax Specialist, CPA will work on complex tax engagements, provide strategic client guidance, and contribute to a collaborative team environment—all while maintaining a healthy work-life balance.

- Prepare and review federal, state, and multi-state tax filings
- Research technical tax issues and document findings through tax memorandums and recommendations
- Serve as a trusted advisor and primary point of contact for clients
- Identify tax-saving opportunities and assist with strategic planning initiatives
- Support sales tax, property tax, and federal excise tax compliance activities
- Assist with process improvements, automation initiatives, and workflow efficiencies
- Mentor team members and contribute to a collaborative, knowledge-sharing culture
- Active CPA required
- 5+ years of recent public accounting tax experience
- Experience managing complex, multi-state tax engagements
- Strong background working with high-net-worth individuals and/or closely held businesses
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local tax regulations
- Strong tax research and technical writing skills
- Proven career progression with demonstrated stability and tenure
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating effectively with a team
- Fully remote position working Eastern Time hours
