- Posting and categorizing bank activity for clients
- Reconciling all bank, credit card, balance sheet, and loan accounts, and ensuring payroll, deductions, and liabilities are accurate each month
- Client trust liability accounts (specific to law firms or other related industries) using 3- or 4-way reconciliation formats
- Accounts receivable as needed
- Reviewing Profit & Loss statements to ensure proper categorization
- Maintaining accurate and organized client records within Dropbox and Google Drive
- Producing standard and custom financial reports, including proprietary Cash Flow Forecast and Forecast vs. Actual Variance Analysis reports
- Tracking project progress, task status, and time daily in Financial Cents, and using Xenett to complete month‑end close processes
- Working independently across multiple client accounts to deliver accurate, timely financials, taking full ownership of each client’s reporting, understanding what drives the numbers, and ensuring all reports are accurate by client‑specific deadlines
- Updating internal client procedures as processes evolve
- Managing client workload with autonomy in a remote work environment, ensuring a secure, distraction‑free workspace
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a Business‑related field preferred; equivalent experience with accounting‑related coursework also considered
- 2+ years of experience in a CPA firm, CAS firm, or other multi‑client or multi‑entity accounting environment, demonstrating ability to switch between clients and manage competing priorities
- 2+ years of recent Quick Books Online experience required
- QBO certification preferred
- Experience with Microsoft Excel and Adobe, as well as Zoom and Dropbox (or similar software) required
- Experience in law firm accounting and/or client trust liability account reconciliations in a related industry
- Familiarity with payroll processing software like Gusto or ADP
- Experience with Right Tool, Financial Cents, Xenett, Saa Sant, and/or Live Flow
- Experience or exposure to legal industry‑specific software like Clio, MyCase, or Law Pay, or similar
- Excellent time management and organizational skills, with a proven ability to meet deadlines across multiple clients
- Effectively written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate financial information clearly to team members and respond to client inquiries when needed
- Genuine interest in working as part of a co‑supportive team, while demonstrating initiative, problem‑solving abilities, and adaptability to process improvements and technology changes
Compensation: $52,000‑$60,000 per year
