As an Accounting Specialist at Med Transcribe AI, you will be responsible for managing daily financial transactions, ensuring accuracy in financial records, and supporting the finance team in maintaining compliance with accounting standards. You will play a key role in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial reporting to help drive the company's financial success.

Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and efficiently.

Maintain general ledger accounts and prepare reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy.

Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.

Prepare financial reports and summaries to support decision-making.

Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and relevant financial regulations.

Work closely with vendors, customers, and internal teams to resolve financial discrepancies.

Support tax preparation and audit activities by maintaining organized financial records.

Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Proven experience in accounting or bookkeeping, preferably within a technology or healthcare setting.

Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.

Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Quick Books, Net Suite, or similar) and Microsoft Excel.

Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Effective communication skills for collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

Salary: $50,000-$65,000 annually (based on experience)
