The Gathering at 840 Church in Franklin, TN is looking for an Accounting Manager. This is a hybrid part time position around 12-18 hours per week. Duties involve all accounting processes for the church including processing payroll, accounts payable, contributions, cash management and financials. The position is also responsible for managing insurance. Experience in ACS Financials and Realm a plus.
Job Responsibilities- Processing Accounts Payable via check and online. Sending year end 1099 forms.
- Processing Payroll, paying payroll taxes, W-2’s.
- Managing contributions including online, stock gifts, Qualified Charitable Contributions and Donor Advised Funds.
- Cash management.
- Preparing monthly financials.
- Managing health insurance, retirement and property insurance.
Must posess an understanding of accounting policies and procedures. Non-profit or church experience a plus.
Additional InformationPart time position includes some paid holidays. In office preferred on Monday’s. Remote work as needed.
