EGP & Company is an established, fast growing CPA firm located in Marlborough, MA offering a unique opportunity to grow with our firm. We specialize in tax planning and compliance for a wide range of clients including high net worth individuals, business executives, family offices, closely held businesses, private equity and commercial real estate.
We are seeking a tax professional with 3-5 years of experience in the preparation and review of individual, fiduciary, and various business entity tax returns. Responsibilities will include managing client relationships; preparation of challenging business returns, including multi-state and international compliance; collaborating with Partners on special projects and advisory work; and researching complex tax issues. Seeking a motivated individual who will ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
While also supporting and mentoring junior staff through coaching and training.

We offer full‑time, part‑time, and hybrid/partial‑remote work arrangements. While we are committed to providing flexibility, the role does require a regular in‑office presence to support effective collaboration and client service.
Qualifications- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field
- 3–5 years of public accounting tax experience with a primary focus on tax compliance
- CPA license or active pursuit
- Prepare complex corporate, individual, fiduciary, and partnership tax returns
- Previous tax review experience a must. Ability to review simple business and individual tax returns
- Review staff work and provide timely and specific feedback
- Strong technical tax knowledge across entity types
- Preparation of business returns with experience in accounting for adjusting tax and journal entries
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and client‑service mindset
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple engagements, with the ability to delegate work
- Experience with CCH Axcess (or similar tax software program) is a plus
