Tax Manager​/Sr Tax Manager - Partner track

Job Description

Our client, an established and growing CPA firm in the east valley, is in search of a Tax Manager to join their successful and growing practice. With a Primary retiring in only a few years, they would ideally love to grow this role into their next Partner. Active CPA is required and at least 6-10 years of prior firm experience. In this role you would be reporting directly to the Partners, mentoring and leading a tenured local team, and working with returns in a hands‑on capacity.

We are looking for someone who can also work independently and self‑manage. This is a client‑facing position where your experience will be put to use in tax planning/strategy to minimize client liabilities, compliance, and reporting. You will oversee and actively prepare the more complex returns, in addition to reviewing and compilations. With a diverse client-base, you will be involved in many facets of tax, including lease returns, trusts, selling partnership activity, stock sales, etc.

A well‑rounded, tax‑heavy CPA with an Accounting mix would be fantastic and ideal.
