This position focuses on reviewing agency records and ensuring compliance with program and contract requirements. Your work supports the proper use of public resources and strengthens oversight across assigned programs. As a Field Auditor 2, you will perform the following duties:
- Record Review: Examine agency files and verify compliance with contract requirements
- Audit Preparation: Plan review steps, gather information, and organize documentation for each audit

Activities:
Conduct visits, hold conferences, complete tests, and provide technical support when needed - Fiscal Verification: Review expenditures, payroll records, assets, and allocation plans for accuracy and support
- Provider Assessment: Evaluate new provider applications and prepare internal memos on agency risk
- Collaboration: Work with program and financial offices to address compliance issues and improve processes
- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 60-minute lunch.
- Scheduled hours can vary depending on the needs of the regional offices.
- Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, up to two days per week after six months of employment. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Pittsburgh.

- Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year of experience as a Field Auditor I;
or - Three years of experience in progressively responsible auditing or accounting work, and graduation from high school supplemented by six credit hours of post high school courses in accounting. Additional training in accounting, business administration or related fields including six credit hours in accounting may be substituted on a year-for-year basis for up to two years of the required experience;
or - Two years of experience in accounting or auditing work, and one and one-half years of college level work including or supplemented by six credit hours in accounting;
or - One year of experience in accounting or auditing work, and a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university;
or - Any equivalent combination of experience and training.
