Senior Tax Professional

Carmichael, Brasher, Tuvell & Company is a CPA firm based out of Atlanta, GA. (Located in Dunwoody, GA). We have been serving the Atlanta area for over 40 years. We are looking for a Senior Tax Professional to assist in preparing and reviewing tax returns (Individuals, S-Corps, Partnerships, Trusts). Our staff are able to work directly with managers and partners as needed for the work they perform.

We maintain a small firm atmosphere where communication, feedback, and employee internal advancement is encouraged. We utilize cloud based technology and software that mirrors that of a big firm while providing the perks and comradery of a small firm.

We are looking for individuals who have experience working at a CPA firm preparing individual, s-corps, partnerships, and fiduciary returns. Quickbooks knowledge and knowledge of financial statements, and knowledge of tax code is required. Ultra Tax experience is preferred. Audit Experience is preferred as off season financial audit work may be required.

Duties:

• Prepare Individual, S-Corp, Partnership, and Trust tax returns
• Communicate and articulate tax questions to clients
• Review Individual, S-Corp, Partnership, Trust tax returns
• Perform Tax research

Qualifications/

Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy
• 3+ year experience in tax/accounting (auditing experience also preferred)
• Must work well with others, be organized and professional
• CPA license/CPA license track preferred but not required
• Job requires candidate to be U.S. citizen and candidate must be able to pass a Federal Security Background Check
