Your Future In This RoleDuring onboarding you will meet with supervisors, team members, and the admin team to discuss expectations, set goals, identify priorities, and gain familiarity with policies, procedures, and strategic measures. Core Daily Responsibilities- Prepare, review, and verify a variety of accounting, statistical, and narrative reports.
- Investigate subordinates’ grievances and recommend resolutions; recommend promotions and disciplinary actions; approve leave requests and overtime; provide adequate coverage during absences.
- Review and analyze electronic and manual accounting systems and make recommendations to improve procedures and ensure conformity to policy and accounting principles.
- Make day‑to‑day decisions on the accounting treatment of complex financial transactions and assist in developing and modifying accounting systems.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of a designated work unit; determine work procedures; prepare schedules; assign, review, and approve the work of subordinate staff.
- Additional education or experience may substitute for the recruiting requirements.

- Graduation from a four‑year college or university with a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Business Administration (emphasis in accounting).
- Two or more years of professional accounting or auditing experience.
- Washington State CPA certification is preferred.
