We are looking for an experienced and hands‑on Interim Senior Manager / Head of Accounting & Taxation to join us on a maternity leave cover contract and lead our global accounting operations during this period. This is a critical leadership role responsible for overseeing accounting, treasury, tax, statutory reporting, and audit activities across multiple jurisdictions, while ensuring business continuity and supporting the ongoing growth of the organization.
As a key member of the Finance team, you will partner closely with senior stakeholders across the business, providing financial leadership, strengthening controls and governance, and driving operational excellence across the finance function. The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise with a proactive, solution‑oriented mindset and thrives in a fast‑paced, high‑growth environment, bringing stability, leadership, and hands‑on execution to a dynamic international business.
Whatyou’ll do
- Lead end‑to‑end accounting activities across global entities, ensuring accurate ongoing accounting operations, closing, and compliance
- Lead and develop the Accounting team, ensuring timely and reliable execution, continuity, and capability through periods of growth
- Own monthly and annual close process, driving compliance with IFRS and local statutory requirements
- Strengthen financial policies, internal controls, and reporting frameworks to support scalability, audit readiness, and business growth
- Oversee operational treasury activities and liquidity monitoring, optimising working capital, payment operations, and financial risk controls
- Manage intercompany accounting, reconciliations, and recharge processes across various group entities
- Coordinate multi‑jurisdictional tax compliance in partnership with external advisors
- Lead statutory audits and operational engagement with auditors and external stakeholders
- Support and collectively drive the ongoing optimisation of ERP and associated workflows through enhanced automation and operational efficiency
- Act as a business partner to internal stakeholders, enabling data‑driven decision‑making and efficient information flow
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; ACCA, ACA, CPA, or equivalent preferred
- 10+ years’ experience in accounting/finance, including multi‑entity or international exposure
- Strong expertise in IFRS, statutory reporting, and tax compliance across multiple jurisdictions
- Proven track record in closing, consolidation, audits, intercompany processes, and stakeholder management
- Experience managing treasury, cash flow, and working capital in a dynamic environment
- Hands‑on and highly proficient with ERP systems;
Microsoft Business Central is a big plus
- A hands‑on, proactive mindset with strong attention to detail
