Compensation and Work Model
A reasonable estimate of the current range is $72,700 - $144,000 per year. This role follows a hybrid work model for candidates located near a Crowe office. Candidates who are not within commuting distance of a Crowe office may be considered for a remote work arrangement, subject to business needs.
Job DescriptionThis role is in the compliance practice and will assist on large projects. Strong technical skills are vital. Responsibilities include performing tax research, working with clients on tax matters, planning and implementing special projects, and managing the compliance function on clients, including the preparation and technical review of corporate and partnership returns.
What You’ll Do- Support tax consulting and compliance services
- Prepare and review federal and state tax returns for partnerships and investment vehicles.
- Assist in analyzing financial products, transaction tax implications, and partnership allocations.
- Contribute to tax research, technical memos, and client deliverables.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely, accurate work while gaining exposure to complex financial products.
- Participate in engagement planning, workflow management, and process improvement initiatives.
- Bachelor’s in Accounting (Master’s or advanced tax degree preferred).
- CPA or progress toward CPA.
- 2-4 years of relevant tax experience, preferably within financial services.
- Foundational understanding of partnership taxation and flow-through structures.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Interest in developing expertise around financial products and investment entities.
