Our valued client is a long-term holding company biotechnology and services platform consisting of two strategic acquisitions that is actively integrating the businesses into a unified operating company. The organization provides customer support, inventory management, data management, and related services to a growing customer base within the life sciences and biotechnology sectors in the cattle industry.

The company estimated to grow by 30% per year. With 65 employees and an entrepreneurial leadership team, the organization is entering an exciting phase of growth and operational scaling.

This is a unique opportunity for a hands‑on finance leader to build the accounting and finance infrastructure of a rapidly growing platform while helping shape the next phase of the company's evolution.

The Controller will serve as the senior finance leader for the organization. Reporting directly to executive leadership and working closely with private equity stakeholders, this individual will be responsible for establishing accounting standards, building scalable financial processes, improving reporting visibility, and creating the financial foundation necessary to support continued growth and future acquisitions.

• Lead all accounting and financial operations for the organization.
• Build scalable finance and accounting infrastructure to support future growth.
• Transition the companies from Quick Books to a shared ERP system.
• Establish accounting policies, controls, procedures, and reporting standards.
• Improve reporting capabilities across multiple business units and operating functions.
• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
• Develop and maintain budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections.
• Provide visibility into operational, financial, inventory, and customer-related metrics.
• Create executive dashboards and key performance indicator reporting packages to aid leadership in its decision‑making process.
• Partner with executive leadership and owners to support strategic planning and decision‑making.
• Support any acquisition integration efforts and standardize financial processes across newly acquired businesses.
• Manage relationships with external auditors, tax advisors, lenders, and other financial partners.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• Seven plus years of progressive accounting leadership experience
• Experience serving as a Controller or CFO within a $25M-$50M+ revenue company
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting
• Experience building accounting infrastructure within entrepreneurial, founder‑led, private equity‑backed, or rapidly growing businesses
• Demonstrated experience creating executive dashboards, management reporting packages, and key performance indicator frameworks
• Strong inventory accounting experience preferred
• Experience supporting businesses with data management, customer support, logistics, technology‑enabled services, distribution, biotechnology, life sciences, or related industries is highly desirable
• Experience standardizing processes across multiple business units is preferred
• Strong systems aptitude with experience utilizing accounting, reporting, and operational platforms
• Experience with Quick Books is preferred
