Remote Australian Tax & Accounting Specialist

Shift Timings - 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM

Location - Remote

Requirement - 2+ years of Australian Accounting or Tax experience

• Prepare and review individual, corporate, and trust tax returns, ensuring compliance with Australian tax legislation.
• Assist clients during ATO audits, prepare documentation, and work on dispute resolutions.
• Prepare and lodge Business Activity Statements (BAS) and GST returns.
• Respond to client queries regarding tax matters, offer proactive solutions, and build long-term relationships.

• In-depth understanding of Australian tax laws, GST, PAYG, fringe benefits tax (FBT), income tax, and corporate tax compliance.
• Strong skills in tax software (e.g., Xero, MYOB, or similar), MS Excel, and accounting systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication to effectively interact with clients and team members.
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships through effective communication and problem-solving.

• Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, including data entry and reconciliation of accounts.
• Prepare and lodge Business Activity Statements (BAS) and Instalment Activity Statements (IAS) in compliance with Australian taxation laws.
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with Australian accounting standards.
• Assist in preparing financial statements and management reports.

• Proficiency in accounting software: MYOB, Xero, Quick Books, XPM, Logitax.
• Add-on software:
  Hubdoc, esybills & Dext.
• Strong knowledge of GST, BAS, and payroll regulations in Australia.
• Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
