EMKA Schmiertechnik GmbH is a medium-sized family-owned company with many years of experience in the fields of lubricants, workshop concepts and technical services. To strengthen our team, we are looking for a committed Financial Accountant / Balance Sheet Accountant (m/f/d) to join us as soon as possible, someone who will actively help shape our financial processes and take on responsibility.

Exciting tasks await you

• Independent management of accounts receivable, accounts payable and general ledger accounting
• Management of fixed asset accounting
• Execution and monitoring of payment transactions
• Processing of dunning and receivables management
• Review and settlement of travel expenses
• Participation in monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements
• Development of controlling tools for analysing sales, earnings and liquidity trends
• Support with VAT reports and tax-relevant evaluations
• Contact person for tax advisors, banks, auditors and authorities
• Participation in the digitalisation and further development of commercial processes in the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central environment
• Taking on project tasks in the area of finance and accounting

What makes you a great fit for us

• Completed commercial training, for example as a tax clerk, industrial clerk, office management clerk or a comparable qualification
• Several years of professional experience in financial accounting. We expressly welcome applicants returning to work
• Further training as a Financial Accountant or Balance Sheet Accountant (IHK) is an advantage, but not a requirement
• Confident knowledge of the fundamentals of German tax law, particularly VAT
• Confident use of accounting software, e.g. DATEV, as well as MS Office
• Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is an advantage
• Careful, structured and independent way of working
• High sense of responsibility, discretion and reliability
• Team spirit as well as open and reliable communication
