Senior CPA – Tax Planning & Advisory

We're looking for an experienced CPA who enjoys working directly with clients, solving complex tax issues, and serving as a trusted advisor. This role is ideal for someone who wants to build long‑term client relationships while helping shape the future of a growing advisory‑focused firm.

• Lead proactive tax planning and advisory engagements for business and individual clients.
• Prepare and review federal and state tax returns for accuracy and completeness.
• Identify tax‑saving opportunities and develop customized planning strategies.
• Serve as the primary advisor for a portfolio of clients throughout the year.
• Research complex tax issues and provide practical recommendations.
• Collaborate with staff to ensure high‑quality client service and timely deliverables.
• Mentor and support team members through technical guidance and review.
• Contribute ideas that improve firm processes, efficiency, and the overall client experience.

• Active CPA license required.
• 3+ years of public accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of individual, business, partnership, and S corporation taxation.
• Demonstrated experience with tax planning and advisory services.
• Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
• Strong organizational and project management abilities.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with a growing team.
• Experience with Ultra Tax and Quick Books is a plus.

Our home office is in Houma, with clients and team members throughout South Louisiana. We are hiring candidates located in or willing to relocate to the New Orleans, Baton Rouge, Lafayette, or Houma areas. Occasional travel for team meetings and client visits may be required.
