Remote Tax Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated remote tax manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing tax compliance and planning for our clients, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all tax-related matters. This role offers the flexibility of remote work while providing the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing and overseeing the preparation and filing of federal and state tax returns for individuals, S-Corps, and partnerships
• Ensuring compliance with all tax regulations and laws while advising clients on tax strategies
• Conducting detailed reviews of tax returns and providing recommendations for improvements
• Collaborating with clients to gather necessary financial information and documentation
• Staying updated on tax legislation and industry trends to provide informed advice
• Mentoring and training junior staff on tax-related matters and best practices
• Assisting in resolving tax-related issues and audits as needed

Qualifications:

• Certified public accountant (CPA) designation is required
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in tax preparation and compliance
• Strong knowledge of S-Corp and partnership tax regulations
• Proficiency in Quick Books or similar accounting software
• Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively
