Senior Accountant - Hybrid

Kforce's publicly traded entertainment company in NYC is seeking a Senior Accountant. The role will be 4 days in the office and 1 day work from home during non-close and 4 days work from home the week of the month end close. Responsibilities Include:

* Assist with monthly close, including preparation of journal entries, account reconciliations and management reporting

* Analyze actual results and prepare monthly and quarterly financial statement variance analyses versus Forecast, Budget and Prior Year

* Liaise regularly with international Finance Directors on various accounting, reporting and/or planning matters

* Assist in the preparation of various analytical reports and presentations for use by upper Management

* Maintain corporate accounting policies and procedures manual

* Assist in the development and maintenance of internal controls over the corporate accounting function

* Assist in complying with requests from third-parties such as independent auditors and internal tax, legal and SOX departments

* Other special projects
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting

* 2-3 years of national public accounting experience (in auditing or due diligence) and a CPA or at least 2 parts passed of the CPA

* Strong working knowledge of Excel

* Experience with consolidation and financial reporting systems, particularly SAP BPC and/or One Stream is a plus
