Staff Accountant
Compensation:
$30.00–$35.00/hr, commensurate with experience | Temp-to-Hire Opportunity
Location:
Downtown, NYC. In office 4x a week and one day work from home.

• Perform account reconciliations and validate financial data against source systems
• Research and resolve discrepancies and outstanding reconciling items
• Support cash application and transaction review activities
• Collaborate with internal departments and external business partners to resolve accounting issues
• Maintain accurate financial records while meeting established deadlines and reporting requirements
• 1–5 years of accounting, finance, accounts receivable, reconciliation, or related experience
• Strong Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP functions
• Experience working with financial data, reconciliations, and transaction analysis
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
• Hybrid schedule with 4 days onsite and remote Fridays
