Senior Financial Reporting Accountant – Real Estate Funds

I'm partnering with a leading institutional real estate investment manager to identify a Senior Associate, Fund Accounting to join a collaborative finance and accounting team supporting a diversified portfolio of institutional real estate investment funds.

This is an outstanding opportunity for an accounting professional who enjoys working at the intersection of fund accounting, investor reporting, and real estate finance
. You'll partner with Fund Accounting, Portfolio Management, Capital Markets, and Investor Relations while playing a key role in delivering high-quality financial reporting to institutional investors.

• Prepare quarterly and annual investor reporting packages, including financial statements, capital account summaries, partner allocations, and supporting schedules.
• Develop portfolio-level analytics, commentary, and reporting materials for investor presentations and communications.
• Support capital call and distribution reporting, ensuring accurate allocations and compliance with partnership agreements.
• Maintain and enhance financial reporting models to deliver timely, consistent, investor-ready reporting.
• Assist with investor due diligence requests, ad hoc financial analysis, and historical fund reporting.

• Partner with Fund Accounting, Portfolio Management, Performance, and Capital Markets teams to ensure reporting accuracy and consistency.
• Participate in system enhancements and process improvement initiatives that streamline reporting workflows.
• Support special projects and strategic initiatives as the platform continues to grow.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 4-8 years of experience in fund accounting, real estate accounting, investor reporting, or public accounting
• Strong understanding of GAAP and partnership accounting
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Experience with ERP or real estate accounting systems such as Yardi, MRI, JD Edwards, or similar
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to prepare polished investor-facing reporting
• Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Self-motivated with a collaborative approach and strong analytical skills
