Exciting opportunity available at a growing CPA firm for a Senior Manager with expertise in Government Audits. Room for advancement to Director / Partnership level with a good work-life balance in a hybrid work setting.

The Senior Manager will serve as the central communication point between the Partner, clients, and staff. Responsible for overseeing multiple audit and accounting projects simultaneously, as well as coordinating workflow and team assignments. In addition, the Senior Manager plays a key role in fostering client relationships and business development.

• Manage all stages of audit and review engagements across multiple projects
• Maintain regular client contact and build strong client relationships
• Keep engagement Directors or Partners informed of client account developments
• Showcase technical proficiency and adherence to professional standards
• Schedule engagements effectively and maintain budget compliance
• Review financial statements and client deliverables
• Train, supervise, and evaluate staff accountants
• Participate in Firm’s Business Development activities

• Minimum Qualifications:
• Accounting or related Bachelor’s degree
• Five years of public accounting experience with a focus on government audits
• Active CPA license
• Preferred Qualifications:
• Ability to lead teams effectively
• Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and standards
• Cooperative and responsive to feedback

• Hybrid work environment with flexibility to work from home, office, or client sites
• Occasional same-day and out-of-town travel required
