Responsibilities- Support the day-to-day accounting and month-end close activities for the Sales & Marketing business areas.
- Assist the Senior Accountant and Manager, Sales & Marketing, with operational accounting processes, accrual tracking, journal entries, reconciliations, and general accounting support related to Sales & Marketing expenses.
- Prepare and process approximately 40–60 journal entries per month, including accruals, reclasses, recurring entries, and other close adjustments.
- Validate account coding and review supporting documentation.
- Assist with recurring entries, reclasses, Concur reporting support, and reconciliations.
- Meet tight deadlines during the close cycle and maintain organized support files and documentation within shared drives and One Drive.
- Support preparation of monthly operating expense and G&A schedules for review by the Senior Accountant and Manager.
- Assist with variance explanation tracking and supporting documentation collection.
- Support balance sheet reconciliations and related documentation preparation.
- Provide operational accounting support to the team and internal business partners.
- Assist with SAP-related requests and departmental administrative duties.
- Utilize Excel, SAP, Concur, and reporting tools to improve process efficiency.
- Support ad hoc projects and reporting requests.
- BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
- 1–3 years of accounting experience preferred.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills required.
- Experience with SAP, Concur, or similar accounting systems preferred.
- Experience with AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Shortcut AI) preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet close deadlines.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Professionalism, reliability, accountability, and willingness to learn.
Compensation:
Annual Pay Range: $68,605 - $77,181;
Annual Incentive Target: 7.50%. Pay may vary based on qualifications, skills, location, and experience. Benefits include healthcare coverage and 401(k) matching, among others. Learn more at
