Full Charge Bookkeeper

Description

We are looking for an experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper to support day-to-day accounting operations for an opportunity based in Boca Raton, Florida. This role is ideal for someone who can work independently in a fully remote environment while maintaining accurate financial records and delivering dependable reporting. The position focuses on managing core bookkeeping activities across payables, receivables, and reconciliations with strong proficiency in Quick Books.

Responsibilities:

- Oversee the complete bookkeeping cycle, ensuring financial transactions are recorded accurately and kept up to date.

- Process vendor invoices, schedule payments, and maintain organized accounts payable records to support timely disbursements.

- Manage customer billing, track incoming payments, and follow up on outstanding balances within accounts receivable.

- Perform regular bank and account reconciliations to verify balances and resolve discrepancies promptly.

- Maintain and update financial data in Quick Books, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and proper documentation.

- Prepare routine financial reports and summaries to provide clear visibility into business activity and account status.

- Review accounting entries for completeness and correct errors as needed to preserve reliable books and records.

Requirements - Demonstrated experience handling full charge bookkeeping responsibilities in a detail-focused setting.

- Strong working knowledge of Quick Books for day-to-day accounting and recordkeeping tasks.

- Hands-on experience managing both accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.

- Ability to complete bank reconciliations accurately and investigate variances effectively.

- Strong attention to detail with the ability to organize and maintain precise financial records.

- Comfortable working independently in a remote contract role while meeting deadlines consistently.
