Senior Audit Accountant
BS&P CPAs & Consultants is looking for a senior audit accountant with at least two years of experience to join our rapidly growing and energetic firm.
Position Responsibilities- Perform required planning procedures for all audits, including internal controls walkthroughs and risk assessment.
- Assist staff with questions.
- Assume responsibility for the timely performance and completion of all assigned jobs, including the issuance of financial statements and correspondence letters.
- Train and supervise Staff Accountants assigned to the engagement including the review of Staff Accountant work papers and monitoring Staff Accountant time on jobs.
- Complete projects and engagements within realistic budgets.
- Perform semi-complex audit and accounting research and complete and pass CPA Exam if not already certified.
- Bachelor’s/master’s degree in accounting.
- Experience with running audits.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Minimum of 2 years of audit experience in public accounting.
- Proficiency with CCH Engagement.
The salary range for this position is $70,000 -$85,000 dependent on experience.
