An experienced professional to guide a boutique accounting firm through growing client demands. Focus will be on managing engagements, delivering accurate tax and accounting results, and mentoring junior team members. The role offers a pathway to partnership for the right candidate.

• Serve as main contact for clients across various sectors including professional services and small business owners
• Oversee tax return preparations, reviews, and filings for federal, state, and local authorities
• Manage bookkeeping and accounting processes, including payroll, reconciliations, and financial reporting
• Provide strategic tax advice tailored to small business operations and ownership structures
• Mentor and supervise junior staff, ensuring high-quality work and workflow management
• Maintain client communication, manage deadlines, and support practice development initiatives

• CPA certification strongly preferred, or active pursuit of CPA qualification
• Public accounting experience with a focus on client management and compliance output
• Proficient in handling small business accounting including payroll, S corps, and owner distributions
• Demonstrated ability to lead client engagements independently and guide junior team members
• Expertise in tax preparation, review, and advising on recurring strategies
• Strong communication and organizational skills to work effectively in a small team environment

• Hands-on experience with tax preparation and accounting software platforms
• Background advising small professional service firms and understanding of their financial workflows
• Proactive mindset focused on client service, process improvement, and growth opportunities
