Back Billing Analyst- 100% Remote Billing Boston , Massachusetts Temp Per Hour Jul 31, 2026 $ 29.00 - $33.00 KBW Financial Staffing is working with a leading SaaS client in Boston, MA that is looking for a Billing Analyst to join their team. This is a hybrid contract position that is paying between $29-$33/hr depending on experience.

• Manage the full billing cycle, ensuring accurate invoicing, cash application, collections, and timely payment processing across direct and reseller accounts
• Support month-end close by preparing reconciliations, journal entries, billing reports, and audit documentation while maintaining accurate revenue recognition
• Partner with internal departments to resolve billing issues, manage exception-based billing, and ensure compliance with booking policies
• Identify process improvements, maintain customer payment portals, and help strengthen billing procedures, internal controls, and team training

• 3+ years of accounts receivable/billing experience, preferably in a SaaS or technology environment
• Strong understanding of the full billing cycle, including subscription billing and commercial contract terms
• Experience with marketplace billing and third-party invoicing platforms
• Proficiency with Excel, Salesforce, Net Suite, and Google Workspace;
  Avalara experience is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field

Compensation: $29-$33/hr
