What You Need To Know- TTI is a Texas based agency. This position has the flexibility of a hybrid remote option with three days in a TTI Texas based office starting September
1. This can be discussed further during the interview process. - Your primary duty station will be TTI Headquarters, located at 1111 RELLIS Parkway, Bryan, TX 77807. You are required to report to this location for the first 30 days of employment. Following this initial period, a flexible work arrangement may be approved at the agency's discretion.
- The salary range for position is commensurate. Final salary will be determined based on the applicant's qualifications and experience.
- A Presidential proclamation issued on September 19, 2025, imposes a $100,000 fee on new H-1B petitions filed after September 21, 2025. Please be advised that Texas A&M University will NOT pay this fee. Therefore, if you need immigration sponsorship for your employment, we recommend that you consult with your private immigration counsel at your own expense to ascertain whether your current immigration status would make a potential offer of employment from Texas A&M University subject to this fee.
- In addition, on January 27, 2026, Texas Governor Abbot issued a moratorium on the filing of any new H-1B unless approved by the Texas Workforce Commission. The Financial Accountant II is responsible for auditing travel expense reports, purchase vouchers, and purchase requisitions. This position also trains staff on business processes in individual and group settings. Continued employment in this position is contingent upon availability of funding and satisfactory performance.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities- AUDIT EXPENSE REPORTS, VOUCHERS, AND PURCHASE REQUISITIONS (85%)
- Audit travel expense reports (Emburse), purchase vouchers (Aggie Buy), and purchase requisitions (Aggie Buy) for compliance with Federal, State, System, Agency, Texas A&M Sponsored Research Services and/or sponsor rules and guidelines. Audit for proper documentation and accuracy of accounts. Compare purchase vouchers being processed for payment to issued purchase orders and resolve discrepancies.
