- Record and report monthly oil, gas, and NGL revenues for operated and non-operated assets
- Prepare revenue accruals and ensure accurate allocation by product, property, and owner
- Reconcile revenue activity to supporting documentation and investigate discrepancies
- Partner with operations, land, and production teams to resolve accounting and reporting issues
- Own the gas balancing process, including uploads, reconciliations, analysis, and accounting adjustments
- Prepare gas balancing schedules and support audit and compliance requirements
- Manage revenue distribution processes and support month-end close activities
- Assist with revenue account reconciliations and account true-ups
- Support 1099 reporting requirements, filings, and corrections
- Help strengthen internal controls, procedures, and reporting processes as the organization continues to scale
- Serve as a resource and mentor for junior accounting team members
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 5+ years of upstream oil and gas revenue accounting experience
- Strong understanding of operated and non-operated revenue accounting processes
- Hands-on experience with gas balancing and imbalance accounting
- Experience managing the 1099 reporting process from preparation through filing
- Proficiency with oil and gas accounting systems such as Enertia, Quorum, P2, or similar platforms
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment
