Position SummaryWe are seeking a highly analytical and driven
Senior Accountant to oversee our day-to-day financial operations and ensure the integrity of our financial reporting. In this comprehensive role, you will take full ownership of our core accounting cycles including general ledger maintenance, month-end close, manufacturing inventory reconciliation, and cash flow management while providing crucial oversight to our international AR/AP deliverables. The ideal candidate brings 5 to 8 years of progressive accounting experience, thrives in an independent yet collaborative environment, and possesses the strong GAAP compliance background necessary to support our budgeting, tax, and audit processes.
Accounts Receivable
- Customer follow-up and AR management
- Payment application and bank transaction matching
Accounts Payable
- Review spending compliance and approvals
- Maintain cash flow and AP payment schedule.
- Set up payments in banking system.
Inventory Management:
- Cycle count variance analysis, reconciliation, inventory accuracy
- Inventory Turns
General Ledger:
- Journal entries, accruals, and prepaid amortization
- Monthly general ledger and balance sheet account reconciliations
- Fixed asset and depreciation schedule maintenance
Financial Statement Review:
- Maintain and update financial models
- P&L, BS, and CF Review
- Month End close package preparation
- Margin review and validation
- Cost Analysis and variance review
Other:
- Resolve financial issues related to customer, supplier, and inventory
- Cash Position Monitoring, AR, AP, cash availability and liquidity review, cash flow projections.
- Bank Reconciliations
- Intercompany transactions and reconciliations
- Internal controls maintenance and GAAP compliance
- Review and oversight of India AR/AP team deliverables
Additional Responsibilities:
- Assist in budget and forecasting
- Assist in tax package and coordination
- Assist in Audit coordination
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance preferred.
- 5-8 years of progressing accounting experience a must.
- Manufacturing experience strongly preferred
- Strong Understanding of:
- General ledger accounting
- Month end closings
- Account reconciliations
- Financial statement preparation
- Internal controls and GAAP
- Experience with Net Suite ERP a plus
