Accounting Analyst — True Stone LLC
Location:New York, NY (Hybrid — 4 days onsite, 1 day work from home)

Position OverviewTrue Stone LLC is seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Analyst to support its day-to-day accounting operations and investor reporting. This role combines core AP/AR and bookkeeping responsibilities with exposure to fund-level accounting, including capital calls, investor distributions, and interest payments. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants hands‑on experience across both traditional accounting and private lending/investment fund operations.
Key Responsibilities- Manage accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) transactions, invoices, and credits
- Set up bills for payment and ensure they are processed on time
- Enter and maintain transactions in Quick Books
- Reconcile monthly bank statements in Quick Books
- Assist with processing and calculating interest payments
- Contribute to the month‑end close process
- Track capital calls and distributions to investors
- Support investor communications and reporting
- Maintain various accounting trackers
- Assist the Controller with various ad hoc requests and treasury functions
- Scan and file financial documents as needed
- Strong proficiency in Excel is required
- 1–3 years of accounting, bookkeeping, or related experience;
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred - Working knowledge of core accounting principles (debits/credits, account reconciliation, month‑end close) required
- Knowledge of Quick Books is a plus
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Comfortable with numbers and data analysis
- Proficient in the use of technology and various software tools
- Eagerness to learn and adapt in a dynamic work environment
