Remote Accounts Payable Manager

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Remote Accounts Payable Manager to join our growing team. This is a part-time, fully remote position starting at 16 hours per week
, with a competitive annual salary of $155,000–$165,000
.

The ideal candidate will have strong accounts payable management experience, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.

• Oversee and manage the company's accounts payable process, ensuring accurate and timely payments.
• Review, verify, and approve invoices and employee expense reports.
• Maintain strong vendor relationships and negotiate favorable payment terms when appropriate.
• Monitor cash flow and assist with budgeting to ensure payment obligations are met on time.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve the efficiency, accuracy, and effectiveness of the accounts payable function.
• Prepare financial reports, reconciliations, and analyses related to accounts payable.
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes and strengthen internal controls.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounts payable management

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, procedures, and best practices.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize responsibilities, and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Must be currently employed at the time of application.
