Accounts Receivable Specialist
We are seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to manage various accounting and accounts receivable duties. The ideal candidate will have a professional demeanor, keen attention to detail, and exceptional communication and customer service skills. This role involves working with 12 high-profile clients, each requiring a unique approach to accounts receivable management.
Responsibilities- Audit invoices to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Respond promptly to client and corporate inquiries, demonstrating a responsive attitude.
- Efficiently handle credit card payments and credits.
- Adjust client accounts proactively and resolve payment discrepancies.
- Apply persistence to ensure timely and accurate payment application.
- Generate clear and comprehensive client statements.
- Execute invoice billing with meticulous attention to detail.
- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between corporate and field operations.
- Contribute to team success by performing additional duties as assigned.
- Hands-on accounts receivable and collections experience.
- Proficiency in sending professional collection emails immediately.
- Intermediate-to-advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs.
- At least 2+ years of experience in accounts receivable.
- Self-directed with the ability to manage workload independently.
- Customer service focused, especially in handling challenging situations.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Curiosity and drive to understand and resolve discrepancies.
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with consolidating billing and government billing.
- Familiarity with non-US cash applications and daily audits.
- ERP experience.
- A relevant degree is preferred.
The accounting department consists of 20 people and offers significant opportunities for advancement. Initially, the role requires on-site work at the DTC office until fully trained, approximately 30 days, with the potential for remote work one day a week. By the six-month mark, eligible employees may work from home two days a week. Wednesdays are mandatory on-site days. The team values a close-knit culture and frequently engages in team-building activities such as Accounting Appreciation Week and external events.
The office environment is pet-friendly, with both dogs and cats present, so candidates should be comfortable in such a setting.
This is a Contract position based out of Greenwood Village, CO.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $26.00/hr.
