Remote Accountant | Net Suite Intercompany Focus
Join a growing accounting team! We are seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to support general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and month-end close activities within a fast-paced, multi-entity environment. This role is ideal for an accountant who enjoys owning balance sheet reconciliations, working through complex intercompany transactions, and partnering with teams across multiple subsidiaries.
Strong Net Suite experience, particularly with intercompany accounting, is required.
What You'll Be Doing- Prepare and post journal entries as part of the monthly close process
- Perform balance sheet and bank reconciliations
- Analyze general ledger activity and investigate variances
- Manage and reconcile intercompany transactions and balances across multiple entities
- Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities
- Maintain accounting schedules and supporting documentation
- Partner with internal teams to resolve accounting discrepancies and ensure accurate reporting
- Support financial statement preparation and reporting requirements
- Utilize Net Suite for day-to-day accounting operations
- Leverage Excel to analyze data and prepare reconciliations
- Assist with audits and requests from internal and external auditors
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and increased efficiencies
- 5+ years of accounting experience
- Strong understanding of general ledger accounting
- Hands-on experience with intercompany accounting and reconciliations
- Net Suite experience is required
- Month-end close experience including journal entries and account reconciliations
- Strong balance sheet reconciliation experience
- Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP)
- Experience working in a multi-entity environment
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently in a fully remote setting
- Public company experience
- CPA or CPA candidate
- Experience supporting multiple subsidiaries or legal entities
- Exposure to audit support and financial reporting
- Process improvement mindset
- Strong communication and collaboration skills

This is a Contract position based out of New York, NY.
Pay and Benefits:
The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $70.00/hr individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
