Zoom is looking for a professional to support the indirect tax team with end-to-end global indirect tax compliance and advisory across multiple jurisdictions. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to automate processes and implement AI-driven tax solutions, delivering accurate, timely tax reporting, and driving continuous improvement across the tax function.

The team delivers global indirect tax compliance and strategic tax operations, working collaboratively across timezones to support the company's tax obligations. The goal is to ensure tax accuracy and efficiency while enabling business growth.

Responsibilities include managing end-to-end VAT and indirect tax compliance processes across multiple jurisdictions, executing VAT and indirect tax accounting processes during month-end and quarter-end close, supporting global e-invoicing, Continuous Transaction Controls, and digital tax reporting requirements, collaborating with tax technology teams to identify automation opportunities and deliver AI-driven process improvements, and responding to audit requests from tax authorities, third-party auditors, and internal teams while supporting customer-facing teams with tax queries.

We're looking for candidates with 4+ years of experience in indirect tax roles with multinational businesses, who can perform indirect tax compliance, GL accounting, and tax advisory for complex, multi-jurisdictional operations, use tax technology platforms such as Oracle, Avalara, or Zuora, apply U.S. GAAP accounting principles to tax processes, communicate clearly in writing and verbally, maintain high attention to detail and accuracy in all deliverables, bring experience from Big 4 and in-house tax environments, and apply telecommunications industry knowledge to tax operations.
