Senior Accountant

Our fantastic and dynamic operating client in Houston is seeking a motivated Accounting professional with around 3-5 years of Accounting experience to serve as the Controller's "right hand". This is an

• The position will offer salary, bonus, and equity participation in a startup organization with significant upside
• Accounting Firm or O&G industry Accounting experience highly preferred
• CPA eligibile also preferred
• The Oil & Gas industry is going through a huge consolidation phase. As a result, the industry is going to end up very short on talent in agnostic disciplines like Accounting. As a result, the industry is a phenomenal opportunity for Accounting professionals to maximize their potential to become a company principal in the future
• Some exposure to Financial Statements would be very helpful
• This role is best suited for motivated Accountants who want to learn to become a Controller/CAO in an expedited fashion
• Bachelor's in Accounting required

This is a high-quality new team that has recently purchased natural gas assets that will increase in demand in time due to AI and other sources of increased demand (LNG export).
