Role Summary:

• Reports to an Accounting Manager on the Houston Client Accounting team
• Focused exclusively on third-party commercial property management accounting
• Oversees full-cycle accounting for a portfolio of medical and commercial office properties
• Supports financial reporting, reconciliations, budgeting, variance analysis, and client communications

Team Structure:

• Reports to one of four Accounting Managers under the Houston Controller
• Works alongside a team of 20–25 accounting professionals in a collaborative, tight-knit environment
• Strong emphasis on communication, accountability, and internal compliance standards

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Minimum of 2-3+ years of commercial property accounting experience
• Third-party property management accounting background strongly preferred
• MRI and Yardi system experience is highly valued/needed
• Must be detail-oriented, analytical, and highly organized with the ability to follow process-driven accounting workflows
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a collaborative mindset
• $60k-$75k

• Hybrid schedule: 2 days in-office, 3 days work-from-home
• 20 PTO days annually, in addition to holidays and sick days
