Accountant, Financial Reporting, Tax Accountant

Triple Lift is seeking a detail-oriented mid-level Accountant to join the Finance team. The role involves managing end-to-end payroll processing for 400+ employees across multiple entities and regions, ensuring accurate payroll accounting, partnering with HR and payroll providers, preparing payroll tax filings, and supporting equity and stock-based compensation accounting under ASC 718. Additional responsibilities include processing vendor invoices in Tipalti, reviewing and coding invoices, resolving discrepancies, improving accounting processes, collaborating with business partners on compensation reporting, supporting audits, and assisting with special projects.

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, 3-5 years of relevant accounting experience preferably in tech or adtech, strong GAAP knowledge, experience with multi-state/international payroll, familiarity with ASC 718 and equity platforms like Carta or Share works, proficiency in accounting software such as Sage Int Acct or Net Suite, and advanced Excel skills. CPA or CPA candidate preferred. The position is full-time with hybrid remote work options, located in Detroit, MI and New York, NY.
