We are seeking a talented Senior Tax Accountant who is looking to step out of the grueling big-firm grind and into a role that prioritizes mentorship, career growth, and genuine work-life balance. In this role, you will work closely with our partners and shareholders to manage diverse tax compliance, planning, and consulting engagements.
Key responsibilities include:
- Tax Preparation:
Prepare and review complex federal and state corporate, partnership, non-profit, and individual tax returns. - Client Advisory:
Act as a trusted advisor, supporting small businesses and individuals with strategic tax planning, consulting, and accounting software selection. - Team Leadership:
Mentor and guide junior tax staff, reviewing their work to foster professional development. - Research:
Perform deep technical tax research on shifting regulations and restructuring opportunities.
What we look for includes:
- Experience:
Minimum of 4 years of public accounting experience focusing on tax compliance and planning. - Credentials:
Active CPA license or currently CPA eligible (actively pursuing the designation). - Skills:
Strong technical knowledge of corporate, partnership, and individual taxation, alongside proficiency with modern tax software. - Mindset:
Excellent communication skills and a passion for building lasting client relationships.
Compensation and benefits include:
- Salary: $90,000 to $120,000 annually, highly dependent on experience.
