Senior Accountant - Property Management

JOB DESCRIPTION :

Staff Accountant/Senior Accountant
Qualifications:

• Associate or Bachelor Degree in Accounting or Finance or commensurate work experience
• 3 to 5 years of experience
• Proficiency in Resman, Yardi, or similar multi-family accounting software a plus
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Ability to operate in an organized manner, problem solve and work independently
• Ability to communicate with others in a proactive and professional manner
• Willingness to learn/adapt to new software and a comfort level with cloud based work environments

• Accounts Payable – input, review and pay bills.
  
  Follow-up with vendors when necessary.
• Accounts Receivable – generate, submit and follow up on customer/client invoices.
• Payroll – review and input payroll on a bi-monthly basis includes 401K and HSA reporting.
• Cash management – deposits, wire transfers, management of Positive Pay, creating and providing cash reports.
• Monthly bank and credit card reconciliations.
• Review and reconcile other asset and liability balances, including intercompany balances.
• Review financial statements for reasonableness and accuracy and identify/resolve issues.
